I worked with Colin in Rolls-Royce and we had the pleasure of collaborating on the CyberFirst summer internship programme, which he spearheaded for several years. It wasn’t part of his job description as a Cyber Incident Director, mind you, but he took the original scheme and grew it into the Women in Cyber programme, which now supports up to four interns every summer and includes the Rolls-Royce Women in Cyber conference.

The event brings together women working in cyber security to learn from each other, network, and also promote the importance of diversity in the industry. I think that summarises Colin to a tee – he’ll go the extra mile to do the right thing, because that’s who he is as a person.
